Self Induced Hypnosis is the ability to induce a hypnotic state of mind and maintain self control. With the outcome of each session the sky is the limit for self improvement.
 
What you need for self hypnosis first and most important is a very quiet place with no distractions. The mind, from the moment of birth with the first breath that we take, is stimulated and constantly looks for outside input to keep it going, this is why a peaceful quite place is a must.
 
Next you need a  comfortable position lying down or sitting, just be sure that your head and body is secure and not nodding or jerking when your hypnosis begins.
 
You'll need a method of hypnotic induction.  There are many ways to induce hypnosis. With self hypnosis a trained hypnotherapist to administer the session will not be there to induce you, therefore you must depend on an alternate method. There are many programs out there to accomplish this. Now you are ready to explore your mind.
 
Shall we see if we can understand the hypnotic state of mind a little. The hypnotic state is when we are in a very focused and concentrated state of mind focused on only one thought and open to suggestions without resistance, willing to receive new instructions.
 
When entering a self induced hypnotic state, you will want to concentrate on a single thought or phrase, but before you decide on what that thought or phrase will be, consider it and the outcome of it, for example, if you need to give a speech you could say "I can give a good speech and will do so", then find yourself not confident in a conversation with several people, you might instead repeat the phrase "I am comfortable speaking in front of others."
It is very important with self hypnosis that you consider what you want to improve and the outcome of any suggestion that you give yourself. Consider a broad approach before you begin.
